NCIS: Los Angeles season 8 episode 22 sneak peek: The great gold rush

NCIS: Los Angeles season 8 episode 22 sneak peek

In the NCIS: Los Angeles season 8 episode 22 sneak peek that we’ve got here, one thing is clear: A gold rush is at hand!

Granted, the idea of a gold rush in 2017 is a little bit different than one in 1849. Specifically, we’re talking through the video below about a gold heist and a gang battle that is going on in order to figure out its origin. Because there is such a specific pot of metaphorical gold at the end of this rainbow, we’re looking in the end at a very different case to any that we’ve encountered as of late. This also means a very different crime scene.

Through some quick investigating, Sam and Callen realize that the scene that they are at below is not a hit as they first speculated; instead, it’s an extraction. If you cannot get the gold itself, then you often will shoot for the next-best thing in knowledge. Odds are, you’ve heard the expression before about knowledge being power, and that’s something that we imagine many people coveting within this world.

This episode is in many ways a continuation from the one that we just saw the week before, which is why we’re going to be getting the chance to see the return of such people as Retired Admiral AJ Chegwidden (John M. Jackson), Admiral Sterling Bridges (James Remar), and Retired Captain Charles Langston (Carl Lumbly). They’ll help to give you a little more in the way of further insight into this story, and overall just a chance to tell a richer one as a whole. Plus, we love Remar’s work in particular and we’re never going to be bummed out to see him on the show.

Eventually, this episode is going to make way for the remainder of the season, and if this turns out to be similar in some way to what’s being teased, it’s going to be epic. It may be specifically one of the most intense storylines revolving around Sam Hanna that we’ve had a chance to see with the show.
