Reign season 4 episode 9 spoilers: Mary and Darnley’s wedding

Ready for things to get romantic on Reign season 4 episode 9? It’s already clear that this is a romantic show, but it’s going to be getting even more so as we look ahead to next week, which is going to mark an opportunity to celebrate Mary and Darnley’s wedding. This will be a celebratory occasion for Mary, and one that does actually prove to be a benefit. As for whether or not it stays that way … well, we always find ourselves in a somewhat-strange position when it comes to spoiling history.

Anyhow, let’s just go ahead now and offer up a few more of the details in terms of what’s coming up next.

Reign season 4 episode 9 synopsis – “Mary (Adelaide Kane) and Darnley (Will Kemp) wed in a lavish affair, which proves to be a successful decision in regards to her political standing. James (Dan Jeannotte) makes an interesting discovery about Greer (Celina Sinden), while Elizabeth (Rachel Skarsten) frantically tries to salvage England’s power.”

Obviously, it’s not all going to be sunshine and roses within the Reign universe, given that Mary cannot just forget about everything that is going on down in England. The wheels are pretty much constantly spinning within this world, and you do have to be aware of it. If nothing else, we know that Mary is crafty enough to know to keep attune as to all things happening in this world — given everything that she’s been through so far, she has to in order to avoid disaster.

Aside from the story of the show itself, one thing that we would like to see before the season ends is some sort of improvement when it comes to the ratings. So far, the show is down around 30% in the 18-49 demographic as opposed to season 3. We know that this is the final season, and there are some extenuating circumstances given that in season 3 the show had a chance to air in the fall, where there are typically more viewers around. Still, we just want to see the series conclude on a high a note as possible so that it can be celebrated by a pretty substantial audience.
