NCIS: New Orleans season 3 episode 21 return date: Sheryl Crow performs!
So when are you going to have a chance to see season 3 episode 21 on the air? Think along the lines of Tuesday, April 18 with an installment entitled “Krewe.” If there was ever a title for the show that feels like vintage New Orleans, we’re pretty sure that this is it. It seems as though this is going to be a fun episode at moments, but at the same time, one with a serious mission that furthers along the battle between Pride and Mayor Hamilton. We do like that this show has a little bit of an ongoing story this season; it certainly feels a little bit more like NCIS: Los Angeles in that regard. Also, we’re all for continuing to see some shows experiment with the form a little bit.
Now, let’s offer up a look at what is specifically coming up over the course of the episode.
NCIS: New Orleans season 3 episode 21 synopsis – “While Pride listens in on a wiretap of Mayor Hamilton (Steven Weber), the NCIS team investigates a train heist of hundreds of Navy weapons, on NCIS: NEW ORLEANS, Tuesday, April 18 (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. Features a two song performance by GRAMMY Award winner Sheryl Crow from her upcoming album Be Yourself, including the first single ‘Halfway There’ and the world premiere of ‘Roller Skate.'”
Seeing Sheryl Crow make an appearance in the episode is exciting, and it furthers along this show’s recent history of featuring a wide array of bands on it. We’re not sure what turned NCIS: New Orleans into almost a variety show with a wide array of different artists coming on. If this was a show set in another city where this didn’t make sense, maybe we’d be annoyed about it. Go to New Orleans, though (especially the heart of it), and you’ll have a pretty hard time not finding some music.
