Bull episode 20 return date: When is Michael Weatherly back on TV?
This episode is entitled “Bring It On,” and surprisingly, it’s not going to feature Kirsten Dunst as the head of a cheerleading squad. Instead, this story (airing on April 18) is going to feature both a high-profile guest star in Isaiah Washington of The 100, and then also a high-profile case that could lead to seeing someone try to represent themselves on the stand. It’s easy to envision this going awry in a wide array of different ways, but this is Bull and we don’t exactly think that Michael Weatherly’s title character would allow things to become a sideshow. He is a smart, focused man, and he’ll probably be calculated more so than anything in trying to ensure that everything happens methodically to the benefit of the jury.
Bull episode 20 synopsis – “When Bull assists Jules Caffrey (Isaiah Washington), a high-powered attorney on trial for his fiancée’s murder, he takes advantage of his client’s penchant for courtroom theatrics by letting him defend himself.”
As this synopsis indicates, Bull knows what he is doing in having Caffrey go up there and defend himself to the jury. He realizes that this may be the best way to ensure that he can appeal himself to the jury on an emotional level, since nobody is going to understand the case better than the victim’s fiance. Also, he’s going to have the most to gain in fighting for his life given that he’s the one on trial.
If you think about it, combining a great attorney with also a great jury analyst like Bull could make for a killer combination. Provided that Caffrey is actually innocent (big if, given that we don’t know anything about him just yet), this could be a combination that we could see again in the future. We’re all for adding some more guest stars to the roster alongside people like Jill Flint are Yara Martinez — we’re at least hoping that these two ladies will turn up at some point during season 2.
