Reign season 4 episode 8 spoilers: Is Mary’s wedding in trouble?

With Reign season 4 episode 8 coming on The CW next week, we’re going to have an opportunity to see some more movement in the story rather quickly. Specifically, this time we’re talking about some potential snags in the wedding plans. While Mary and Darnley are still doing their part to prepare for the big day and the big ceremony, it’s becoming increasingly clear that there are some people out there looking to play spoilers. This article should give you a little bit of insight in regards to what to expect leading up to this big ceremony, and specifically what could cause things to go south. We’re excited for the story, but it’s also fair to say that we’re pretty fearful when it comes to what it means for Mary emotionally. (Yes, it’s harder to say anything more than that given that this is history, and so many of us know how the story ends.)

Reign season 4 episode 8 synopsis – “As Mary’s (Adelaide Kane) upcoming wedding looms, a terrible tragedy pushes Mary and Darnley (Will Kemp) apart, forcing Mary to enlist in Catherine’s (Megan Follows) help. Elizabeth (Rachel Skarsten) encounters a traitor to Spain, who petitions her to support an expedition to the New World.”

Ultimately, it’s exciting to get to see the New World even mentioned on the show, mostly because it’s still somewhat crazy to even think about the culture in Scotland / England at this time in perspective to just how different life was in America then. It’s one of the interesting things about this show, to go along with all of the relationships, the drama, and of course the political intrigue. Where would we be when it comes to this show if we didn’t have a little bit of political intrigue here and there? It’s a big part of what helps to make the world go ’round.
