Grey’s Anatomy season 13 episode 18 promo: Ellen Pompeo directs!
“Be Still, My Soul” is the title for this episode, and if you haven’t seen the synopsis for it yet, we strongly recommend that you do so below.
Grey’s Anatomy season 13 episode 18 synopsis – “When Maggie’s mom’s health deteriorates, the doctors are at odds over how to treat her. Meanwhile, Richard comes to grips with Bailey’s betrayal over the Residency Program.”
Will this episode prove to be worth the hype? We’re certainly hopeful that it will be, but there is something admittedly that is rather odd in the first place about creating an association between being hyped and having devastating stuff happening to some of the characters. We want to see Maggie’s mother by okay, but we also cannot ignore the fact that this is cancer. As a result of that, you know what the worst-case scenario is, and there is often very little that you can do about it other than try to fight it off and have hope that it goes into remission.
As for the part of the story featuring Bailey, Richard, and the residency program, that is something that in one way or another has been an essential part of this season for many weeks now. We hope that Webber will be able to figure out a proper way in which to have his cake and eat it without disrupting the entire flow of the hospital in the process.
Promo – The show is even promoting the episode with Pompeo directing, which is something that you don’t often see shows do when they have a star on board in the chair. Beyond that, though, it’s clear that we’re going to be getting a story that is heavy on the Maggie storyline, which we don’t mind given that we find her to be compelling and then some.
