The Flash season 3 episode 17 sneak peek: Cisco meets the Martian Manhunter

There are a number of things that are appealing about The Flash season 3 episode 17, and the music is only a part of that. You’ve also got to look forward to here a super-fun series of interactions between characters from this show and Supergirl who have to date not had opportunities to interact with each other.

For some specific evidence of this, you don’t have to look any further than the sneak peek below! In this video, you can see J’onn J’onzz and Mon-El over at STAR Labs, where the two are doing their part in order to help Kara, who’s fallen into a state of suspension thanks to the villain of the arc in the Music Meister (Darren Criss, who is pretty awesome in everything that we’re seeing from him so far). While Kara struggles within her own musical world, we’re going to see in turn see the team on the outside struggle to figure out how to tackle the adversary.

Also, you’re going to have some priceless reactions on the part of Cisco and Caitlin to seeing J’onn transform into the Martian Manhunter for the first time. While they’ve come to see a lot of unusual things in Central City, aliens are still relatively new. Beyond Kara and the Dominators, they haven’t met a whole lot of them over time. Throughout this crossover, you can expect more great reactions and a few humorous situations to boot.

The big thing to remember while you’re watching this crossover is to probably not take it all that seriously at all. We know that there may be many people out there who are ready and eager to start to get into the story of Savitar, and there will still be plenty of time in order to properly dive into that. However, we’re just not at that point just yet. That opportunity will be coming down the road with episodes like “Abra Kadabra,” which is going to be airing sooner rather than later. This is all just about having a good time and getting a little bit of escapism in a way that you probably were not expecting otherwise.
