Elementary season 5 episode 18 spoilers: Did Shinwell get away with murder?
For some more details on what’s coming, our suggestion is clear: Take a look below!
Elementary season 5 episode 18 synopsis – “Sherlock and Joan question how well they know Shinwell when they investigate the possibility he may have gotten away with the unsolved murder of his friend, a fellow gang member. Also, Sherlock and Joan’s latest case puts them on the hunt for a treasure map rumored to lead to a fortune in pirate’s gold hidden around New York.”
The notion of Shinwell’s innocence / guilt is fascinating from a character perspective, but of course you do also have to wonder a little bit about what’s going on when it comes to the treasure-hunting case. It’s a little-known fact about us that we’ll watch almost anything where treasure-hunting is a central component, so we’re curious to see precisely what is going on here. Are Sherlock and Joan hunting for this because someone died while looking for it? Probably, but we’d certainly be down for a case that features the two parties doing everything that they can in order to collect a little bit of treasure for their own. You gotta think that if you’re someone who is doing some treasure-hunting, Holmes is probably the sort of person you want on your side.
As for the Elementary ratings, we just hope that somehow, someway, they find a way to tick up before we get around to the end of the season. After all, otherwise, you could be looking at a dangerous situation in which we’re facing the end of the series as a whole. There’s still no word on the future.
