Switched at Birth season 5 episode 7 spoilers: 100th episode details

There may not be too much to report on tonight when it comes to Switched at Birth season 5 episode 7, but entering next week, that is going to change courtesy of the big 100th episode of the series! We’ve had a chance to get to see the show build and develop a story that is fascinating, emotional, and shocking at times, and as we get into this milestone, there are going to be some opportunities to look back.

The fact that Gilles Marini is returning, even though Angelo died years ago, makes it very clear that this is a show that is going all out to bring you something special. Bay and Daphne are going to be left to think about his life thanks to the arrival of a new woman. They have to think about what they want to do, but in order to do that, the two parties are going to need to continue to look back.

Synopsis – “A mysterious young woman has Bay and Daphne flooded with memories of their deceased father Angelo (guest star Gilles Marini, “Devious Maids”), and they must decide if they should let her into their lives. Toby is caught between his mother’s wishes to baptize his son Carlton and his wife’s feelings about faith. Melody (guest star Marlee Matlin, “The West Wing”) asks her sons to make amends so the family can be together for her birthday, but it might be too late.”

We also have to say that we’re thrilled to see Matlin back, mostly because she’s not only important when it comes to the show, but also to its message. Bringing her back now is a great opportunity for us to see and understand more of what this show means.

Of course, beyond all of the symbolism and returning characters, the fact of the matter here is still that this is a show with a lot of stories still to tell, and it needs to prepare you further for the series finale in a matter of weeks.
