Hawaii Five-0 season 7 episode 19 sneak peek: Beyond MacGyver crossover

It’s been two weeks since we’ve had a new episode of Hawaii Five-0 so to say that we are excited is probably an understatement. We miss the team!

The first thing that you should note here is that even though some Hawaii Five-0 characters are appearing on MacGyver this Friday in a special crossover event, that’s not carrying over to Hawaii Five-0 itself. The crossover is a one-hour event and hopefully, it’s just a drop in the ocean for more of them coming up down the road since there are so many fun scenarios we could see these two casts working together in.

Now that we’ve said all of that, the name Angus MacGyver will be said by Chin on Hawaii Five-0 itself, as you can see in the first sneak peek below. He tells Grover a little bit about his time with him and Jack Dalton, which in turns leads to Grover making fun of his first name. From there, Chin promptly tells him that MacGyver’s name is basically the least-interesting thing about him. While this may not give you too much context as to how the crossover plays out, it does make it clear that Chin seems to be leaving the episode on good terms with the guys.

Meanwhile, the second sneak peek offers up a little more insight on what’s going to be coming with the main case of the episode. McGarrett and Kono are going to be working to try to locate a missing woman, and will follow the paper trail of a man who may have tried to lure her to a location in foreclosure. None of this looks good; as a matter of fact, the synopsis for Hawaii Five-0 season 7 episode 19 suggests that there may be a sex trafficking ring going on here that she could fall victim to. As a result of all of this, Steve and Kono are going to need to act quickly if they want to ensure her safety. They’ve thrived in high-pressure situations before, so you have to hope that they do so here, as well.

We especially hope that you enjoy this episode given that it could be the last one for a little bit. Based on some of CBS’ plans for the NCAA Tournament, we may not see Hawaii Five-0 again on the air until we get closer to the end of the month. We feel your pain on that one, trust us.
