‘Law & Order: SVU’ season 18, episode 13 preview: Return date for Mariska Hargitay series
Tonight, “Law & Order: SVU” is going to be airing an episode entitled “No Surrender” that should shine a light on the issues that women face in the military both while serving and then after they come back home.
We certainly expect an exciting episode of TV coming back, but we still have many questions worth asking right now in terms of the future. After all, there is no episode listed for next week, and we even known for certain that there won’t be one due to the three-part crossover that is coming and will feature “Chicago Fire” and “Chicago PD” on the road to introducing “Chicago Justice.”
As of right now, it is looking as though you could be waiting for a solid month in the event before you do get a chance to see Mariska Hargitay and company back on TV once more. According to the Futon Critic, there are no episodes scheduled until Wednesday, March 22. If that turns out to be the case, the show is going to have its hands full airing episodes for the remainder of the spring once we get to that date. There are still so many different stories to tell, and that is without even getting into the Donald Trump “inspired” episode that may or may not air this season. Given that there is still no firm premiere date for it, it’s ultimately rather hard to tell one way or another.
Regardless of how long it may be between now and when the show returns, there are a few things that we are confident about in terms of what to expect. This is a show sticks to their hallmarks of fantastic, thought-provoking cases that challenge and enlighten us as viewers as to issues that are going on in the world. Hopefully, we will get a chance to see some personal updates when it comes to many characters. Specifically, we’d love to see a Rollins episode at some point soon; we’ve had some great stuff for Carisi, as well, but we would certainly be fine with more.
Promo – We’ve got a confirmation of the return date, and also plenty of talk regarding hacking. Sounds like a story worth watching, right?

Say it isn’t true! We have to wait another month for the next new SVU
episode?…Is NBC trying to kill off my favorite show or what? Pick a
different show to preempt NBC PLEASE…This is ridiculous & totally
unacceptable! JMO
