ABC’s ‘Scandal’ season 6, episode 5 preview: When will Kerry Washington, cast return?
Tonight, “Scandal” aired an eventful episode that will give you some answers, some further mysteries, and plenty of character development.
Now, in this article we do our part to look towards the future — even if it’s one that requires you to do a bit of waiting. Unfortunately, there is no new episode tonight, and the same goes for the week that follows. You’re going to have to wait until Thursday, March 9 to see what’s going to be coming up next for Kerry Washington and the rest of the cast — the “How to Get Away with Murder” finale is one of the reasons for the delay, as could be the desire to keep the show on the air until we get around to the end of May.
The next new episode of the show is unfortunately so far away that we don’t have too much to go on as of this writing. (We’re writing this portion of the article before the release of the promo — we’ll have that soon.) ABC will probably release a synopsis at some point in the next week or two, and at that point we’ll be able to update this article further with a synopsis. Consider that something to be excited about then!
As for what we’d like to see, how about getting Olivia back to some of what she does best? We do like it when this show has some procedural elements; she’s great at her job “handling” people, and it’s fun to explore the different chemistries that Kerry Washington has with various people on the cast.
Promo – This gives you a good sense of specifically what is going to be coming up — and how ugly it’s going to be. Jake Ballard’s wife (Jessalyn Gilsig) is going to be squaring off with Olivia in a way that we certainly haven’t seen so far this season.
