‘Blindspot’ season 2 spoilers: Teamwork of the unusual variety
There is no new episode of “Blindspot” this week (unfortunately), so to help you get through this hiatus, how about another bit of scoop? Last week, we brought you a discussion regarding the return of Rich Dotcom; this time around, we’re talking about teamwork. Specifically, a sort of teamwork that you don’t get a chance to see on the NBC series all that often.
The upcoming February 22 episode of the show entitled “Draw O Caesar, Erase a Coward” (yep, we’re still doing the anagrams) is going to feature multiple leads on the same investigation, which in part lead to some unusual pairings that you don’t see all that often. Specifically, think along the lines of Weller with Roman, Jane with Zapata, and Patterson with Reade. A “deadly underworld courier” is apparently at the center of all of this, but it could require having multiple people with different skills sets out there in order to ensure that every potential avenue for this threat is secured.
While these sort of episodes don’t often further along central relationships all that much, we like them for these shows that last 22 episodes. It adds some variety, and also an opportunity to see some characters interact who don’t necessarily get a chance to in any other way. To us, that is absolutely exciting. You always want to utilize as many of your different cast members in as many unique ways as possible, and this episode should offer us up some opportunities to do just that.
The show will return to NBC with new episodes next week, and with that, hopefully Jane, Weller, and the rest of the team will get a step closer to stopping Shepherd, and understanding the full extent of her connection with Weller. We already know courtesy of an old photo that there is one that exists out there.
