‘Teen Wolf’ season 6, episode 10 (winter finale): Graduation and (temporary) happiness
Did you really think that everything was going to be quiet in “Teen Wolf” moving into the final ten episodes? After so much pain and a lengthy struggle to get Stiles back — not to mention everything with Mr. Douglas — we actually saw the characters start to move forward. Not only that, but we saw a time jump towards the end of high school. Everyone was at a point in time where they could reflect, be happy, and start to look more towards the future and the next phase of their lives.
For Stiles and Lydia fans, you probably got a few moments that you were happy with, and there was also a nice passing-the-torch moment with Liam that’s been coming for a rather long time now.
Now that we’ve put all of this out there, one of the big questions that we have at present is whether or not it was the right move to go in this direction. After all, just remember for a brief moment here that this was a show that thrived having all of these characters in the same place. With Stiles heading off in a new direction and other characters moving into other spots, you’re left to wonder precisely how much time the show is going to even have to offer us all of the same characters in the same spot. Then again, you can argue that this was an intentional move, one does for the most part as a result of Dylan O’Brien’s schedule taking him all over the place. It’s fair to assume that you are going to see him again, but for how much of the final ten episodes remains to be seen.
In the end, consider this a surprisingly upbeat end to the first part of the final season. Let’s hope now that the second half of the season manages to have a conclusion that is equally pleasant and worthy of praise.
