‘MacGyver’ episode 14 preview: When will Lucas Till, cast return with new episodes?
Tonight, “MacGyver” is bringing you a story of survival halfway around the world in “Large Blade,” and it’s also the first episode featuring a new boss in Matty Webber. Had the show not been picked up for a back nine episodes (which constitutes a full season of 22), this would’ve served as the finale, provided that there weren’t some creative changes made to accommodate that, if that were the case.
Luckily, we are getting nine more installments, but you’re going to be waiting a little while to see them play out. As a matter of fact, it’s going to be Friday, February 3 before Lucas Till, George Eads, and the remainder of the cast return with new episodes. Given that we are looking ahead a few weeks into the future, there’s not a lot of information known about the upcoming story beyond the following: The title is for now “Fish Scaler.”
Does this mean that Mac and Jack are going on a leisurely fishing trip before having Bozer cook it up at a fish fry? The characters probably wish that was the case, but the more likely scenario here is that we’re going to see the two characters in a terrible situation, and one that requires them to be resourceful and creative to get themselves out of it. Oh, and a fish scaler will probably be involved in the mission somehow.
Once the show does return in February, there’s a good chance that you will see new episodes for a good stretch of the remainder of the season before the finale airs. Given that the show has to make way for “The Amazing Race” later in the spring, these stories are probably going to air at a little bit more of an accelerated pace than they would be normally.
