‘Quantico’ season 2: Priyanka Chopra suffers ‘minor’ injury after on-set fall

It appears as though there was a scary moment recently on the set of “Quantico,” but the good news is that the main party involved is going to be okay.

According to a report from TMZ, series star Priyanka Chopra was injured following an on-set incident on the show, one in which she slipped and fell while doing a stunt. She was absent for a promotional event this week for the show, but her rep confirms that she is going to be fine and back to work after the weekend. These sort of things can easily go south, so we’re glad that the injury isn’t serious enough that it impedes her health or her ability to be a part of the show. After all, it’s hard to imagine “Quantico” existing without Priyanka as Alex Parrish, the woman at the center of the entire story.

January is going to be a key month for “Quantico” as a whole, given that the show is going to be returning from its winter hiatus on Monday, January 23, where we will get a chance to see what happens after the Ryan / Alex engagement, and of course also what is happening with the hostage crisis in the future. Aside from the future of the show, it’s a great chance to assess its future in terms of the ratings. The show was losing a ton of steam on Sunday nights, but now it’s getting an excellent lead-in in “The Bachelor.” If it can’t pull in great numbers here, its future could be in greater jeopardy.
