‘NCIS’ season 14 spoilers: More details on big Jimmy Palmer episode
For those who missed the recent news, here it is once more: There is going to be a key Jimmy Palmer episode of “NCIS.” Not only that, but it is one that is going to be coming your way in just two weeks’ time. (Regrettably, there is no new installment of the show airing tonight.)
The January 24 installment of the CBS series is going to be titled “Keep Going,” and the photo above offers up your first look at precisely what is coming up — not to mention the high level of danger associated with it. In this image, you can see clearly Brian Dietzen’s character trying to help someone who is in dire condition. We anticipate that there is going to be a lot of tension in this episode just based on the photo alone, but the synopsis gives you at the very least the slightest bit of additional insight into what is going to be coming up:
“During an NCIS hit-and-run investigation, Palmer joins a stranger on the outside ledge of a building in an attempt to save his life.”
Our biggest hope for this episode is that we’re going to see (of course) lots of great acting from Dietzen, but also a focus on him that lasts for the majority of the hour. There are so few episodes of any crime procedural out there that do cast the focus almost entirely on one person that there is something rather interesting that comes from a show opting to go this route in full. Here’s to hoping that “NCIS” gets a little experimental here, and gives us an hour of TV here that presents everything we could want and then some.
