‘Blindspot’ season 2, episode 11 preview: To stop a bombing
Tonight, “Blindspot” is returning to NBC after a brief hiatus with new episodes, and we’re very much pleased to see that the show is not wasting a whole lot of time before giving you another story to dive in and enjoy.
Before we say anything else, we gotta try to address the title for this episode: “Droll Autumn, Unmutual Lord.” What in the world is that? We know that the show is trying its best to give you quirky anagrams that paint a larger message, but this one’s a little much, isn’t it? It’s just … odd. It’s certainly not easy to say. While we do feel like we could continue to go on for a little while here with some in-depth analysis regarding all things episode titles (clearly, everyone’s favorite thing to hear about), we feel like more people out there are probably interested in some further information regarding what is actually going to be coming up.
Synopsis – “After one of the world’s most-wanted terrorists surfaces in New York for unknown reasons, the team must partner with the CIA to stop a deadly bombing.”
While NBC’s certainly given you more detailed synopses over the years, what we do like about this one is that it makes it very clear precisely what the danger is here, while at the same exact time giving you a good sense that there is going to be an element of teamwork required to resolve it. We imagine that this is going to be fun … or at least as fun as something can be when you’ve got characters running around being afraid for their lives.
Promo – Check it out below! Despite everything that happened tonight with Patterson surviving and with the attempts to get through to Roman, this feels decidedly old-school: An episode where one of Jane’s tattoos could be used to solve a crisis. This time, said crisis just happens to be a bombing.
