‘Bones’ season 12: Watch Billy Eichner say ‘farewell’ in new ‘Billy on the Street’ video

Billy Eichner really does cover almost every pop-culture base known to mankind, so we really cannot say that we’re altogether surprised that the latest video from “Billy on the Street” (airing on TruTV) features the actor / comedian going up to people and sharing their memories of “Bones.” The show is currently in its final season, and Billy just wanted everyone to send it their best well-wishes!

We admit that when we first saw the opening to this video, we thought that the joke was going to be that Billy would approach a number of people who’d never heard of it, despite it being on the air for twelve seasons. However, there are quite a few people who watched it and have some fond memories in it — even if one of them only seems to have watched it because David Boreanaz was in “Angel.” He gets one person to sing a song, he has some random cutaway interactions, and of course we also try to resolve the question as to why one guy has seen every season of “Survivor” other than two of them. (Actually, it feels like this guy’s number count on “Survivor” seasons is a little bit off.)

Ultimately, Eichner’s done his magic here yet again and created a video that should be funny to “Bones” fans along with people who’ve never even heard of the show before. We’re just glad to see the show getting so much attention right now for its final twelve episodes. It’s had a good run, and while it doesn’t seem like there is anything that can be done to save it (like one woman in the video wants to), at the very least there is apparently a possibility to come back with more stories down the road.
