The Celebrity Apprentice’ video: Arnold Schwarzenegger on new set, style, and Los Angeles
The biggest asset that Arnold brings to the show is charisma, and a self-awareness that we do think at times Trump lacked on the show. He’s able to make fun of himself, but command respect at the same time. He also understands that this is a team job, and he’s not going to fire people with getting the input of some of the people around him.
With the arrival of Schwarzenegger also comes the arrival of a new set and a different boardroom. This one appears to be much more modern, with the table being quite possibly the most enormous table that we’ve ever seen. Trump’s boardroom may have been more intimidating in some ways, but we personally like the style of this one better. It’s a little less gaudy, and probably a little more functional … not that we really think that this one has all that much of a use.
Ultimately, we don’t really think that the star of “The Celebrity Apprentice” matters as much to the franchise as many of us may often like they think that they do. After all, you really only see them for a part of the end of the episode, and by the time that they show up, 80% of the time we’ve got a good feeling who should be fired. If they don’t make the right decision, we want to throw popcorn at them and that’s about it.
