‘Teen Wolf’ season 6: What should the endgame be for Tyler Posey’s Scott McCall?
As many of you out there know if you are following MTV’s “Teen Wolf” rather closely, the current sixth season is in fact the final season; therefore, we have to start thinking with a little bit of an end in mind. These are characters who have been through hell and back, seen loved ones die, and also have been tested more than many other people have in their entire lives at such an early age.
What we’re trying to say here is that these are people who absolutely deserve happy endings, even if they are not ones that are particularly easy for any of them to find.
In what we’re hoping becomes a sort of ongoing series here at the site, we’re listing off a few separate things that are on our personal wishlist for several of the characters, and giving that he is the frontman for the show, isn’t it only right that we start with a certain Scott McCall?
No love interest – It may sound petty, but we want this final season to be more about him standing on his own two feet than being focused on romance. It’s not all that hard to imagine that at some point down the line, he could end up finding the perfect person for himself.
Bringing Stiles back – Shouldn’t this one be a given? The groundwork is already there for it!
Getting a chance to leave Beacon Hills – We like to envision an ending for Scott one that is similar to “Lord of the Rings,” where he gets a chance to depart for an unknown destination and live his life in some element of peace.
Stability with his fame – Specifically, can his father and him get on the same page? There’s a certain element of closure here that would be great for these characters before we start to see some of them ride off to the sunset.
Finally, don’t die – There is a part of us that has long wondered if someone like Scott could die in order to save many of his friends, leaving him forever as a Teen Wolf but allowing himself to be the ultimate sacrifice. It’d be a sad ending, but at the same time a rather poetic one. Maybe it’d be powerful, but we prefer our “Teen Wolf” ending ideas with Scott alive.

Just kill McCall off, he’s useless!

I’ve had this idea that, by either finding someone to help or finding someone they already know to figure it out, that there were people who cut down the Nemeton at some point and there were less supernatural issues and the Hale Pack was there to protect the town and that was sufficient. It all began to fall apart once the Argents showed up, but I almost wonder if there is someone from that period who might say, okay, let’s close it once and for all. It might be funny if somehow Agent McCall knows more about all of this and was part of that group when he was Scott’s age. So, they do it again but some of the ramifications is that the supernaturals might not be as powerful as they are, Parrish probably has to die (as he is actually dead), Lydia, while knowing what she is so won’t suffer like her grandmother did, will return to that level of power, and all the werewolves are less. So Beacon Hills will be safe with the junior pack, Theo has no where to go (when he shows up), Stiles has every intention of returning, Scott can leave, Argent can leave, but they go off to college and know Beacon Hills will be fine.
