‘Fuller House’ renewed officially for season 3 by Netflix
While we’ve reported recently that “Fuller House” may have suffered a slight ratings decline over the course of the second season, it was clearly not enough to slow down the revival from getting another batch of episodes on the air.
Therefore, the folks over at Netflix have decided to bestow on us today quite the Christmas gift! In a new post on their social-media page (see below), you can see many of the show’s stars handing down a gift to you, one that ends up being a message stating that the show has officially been renewed for a third season! These episodes will air in the new year; it’s a little early to know precisely when it will air, but we suppose that for the vast majority of people out there, that really won’t matter all that much.
What matters here more than anything else is that this is a show that continues to tell its own fun of stories moving further and further into the future. While this show may be a tad predictable to some, to others its worthwhile family entertainment. It appeals to a very different sort of demographic than the vast majority of other programming on Netflix, which is probably one of the reasons why the service wants it. They want the ability to be able to appear to everyone, and not just a select few. Since expanding their library of original programming, they’ve been able to do that extremely effectively.
Given that the second season contained many a holiday special, we of course are wondering already as to how many the show is going to decide to emphasize over the course of the third! Stay tuned…
