‘Real Housewives of Atlanta’ preview: A Phaedra Parks – Kandi Burruss confrontation

When you consider precisely how long Kandi Burruss and Phaedra Parks have known each other through “The Real Housewives of Atlanta,” you would assume that the two parties know how to navigate some conflict in relation to each other. As it turns out, however, that may not be entirely the case. On Sunday night’s new episode, what you could see instead are some examples of what happens when you keep something for the other person for a long time: It ends up blowing up in your face.

You see, Kandi’s going to be spilling the beans to Phaedra on potentially a couple of things, and based on the new synopsis that we’ve got for you below, we’re not entirely sure that it is going to be ending up altogether well:

“Phaedra calls Kandi to clear the air, but the conversation takes a turn as Kandi divulges long-held secrets. Shereé acts as momager to son Kairo, as he explores a modeling career. Porsha finally introduces her boyfriend Todd to the family and he reveals something Porsha wasn’t expecting, putting their new relationship to the test. Cynthia anxiously awaits news of whether her offer on her dream home was accepted. In the aftermath of Kenya’s argument with Matt, she calls upon her dad for fatherly advice — but nothing can prepare her for her next encounter with Matt.”

Remember when things for Kenya and Matt were for the most part fairly lighthearted? That really does seem like forever ago now, but such is the sad thing about this show, or even many relationships. They all come and go, and that is something that you just have to often contend with if you’re going to be a part of something like this where being on TV can end up becoming a significant strain on your relationship.
