‘Suits’ season 6, episode 11 spoilers: First look at Gabriel Macht in ‘She’s Gone’
On January 25, some of your favorite characters will be returning to USA for the winter premiere of “Suits,” but there is one notable omission: Jessica Pearson. This first episode back is entitled “She’s Gone” for a reason, and it’s that we’re going to have to get used to the idea of seeing what this show looks like without having Gina Torres in the cast.
Jessica’s absence is not something that will take the rest of the firm only hours to get over. She was the biggest asset at Pearson Specter Litt; she was also the only character prominently featured who was a name partner during the early days of the show. She’s always been there for guidance, and now Louis Litt and and Harvey Specter have to try to figure out how to run the company and find clients without her.
In one of the first-look photos above from the winter premiere, you’ve got your first look at Rick Hoffman and Gabriel Macht in action — and it doesn’t appear as though things are going well. Harvey seems particularly incensed about something — maybe Louis went ahead and stirred up some trouble without asking, or maybe he’s just struggling with the stress of such a sudden change. To make matters all the crazier, he may also be having a hard time figuring out what the future holds for his former colleague and friend Mike Ross. If Mike ever comes back to the firm, it’s not going to be in the same role that he once had. He’s got to find his own place in the world again, and for Harvey, this may also mean finding out another way to work with him.
Hopefully, USA will release some more details about this episode before we get around to the holidays. If not, at least you can rest assured knowing that there will surely be something more to report in the new year.
