‘Westworld’ finale spoilers: First look at ‘The Bicameral Mind’
All fans of “Westworld,” brace yourselves: We’re getting close to the end of the road, or at least the end of the show as you currently know it.
While HBO still has yet to release some further information right now about the finale, what we can tell you right now is that the episode is entitled “The Bicameral Mind,” and you can see a series of small little flashes as to what is going to be coming up at a time when users, hosts, minds, and bodies are entirely at risk. The entire community that was structured is now unstructured, and we think that the title is a reference to two different sides of the same mind, operating independently and being immersed in a sea of confusion.
Judging from the fact that Delores has a gun to her head in the thumbnail for the promo, that should give you a pretty good idea as to how serious the stakes are going to be, and what our characters will be up against the rest of the way on the series.
We hope very much personally that there is something resembling answers and a proper ending at the end of this season, mostly because there’s no clear indication as to where we’re going to see the show venture next. There are possibilities of other worlds out there, but do you venture over to them? Do you remain in Westworld to figure out what still lies ahead here? The great thing about a show like this is that you’re presenting yourself with what are really the best sort of challenges, and you have to work into overdrive to figure out answers in a way that makes some sense.
