‘Survivor: Millennials vs Gen X’ episode 11 preview: Could Adam use his advantage at family visit?

Adam -

We’re not going to beat around the bush here: Tonight’s episode of “Survivor: Millennials vs. Gen X” was the most insane episode of the show we’ve seen in years. Jessica left the game following a stunning rock draw, and this came after a war basically started to boil between David and Zeke — two of the game’s most-strategic power players.

How in the world do you come down from an episode like that? We have no idea, but we’re going to try to next week when the show shift gears again starting with Will apparently telling David that he may be willing to do something big with him. He may be an “endangered species” in the game right now, but David’s very smart and he could easily figure out a way in which to stick around in the game a little while longer if he can get the numbers to flip a little bit.

Is there a shot for another immunity idol to enter the game? Give that it’s final nine, and producers do love these things floating around, we wouldn’t be shocked. We just wonder how they would indicate this to players or if David’s just going to go run off and start looking.

From here, we know that we’re also going to get a family visit. It seems a little early to do it at the final nine, but we’re not complaining since there’s some potential for great drama here. This is where Adam could arrive to a crossroads in the way he’s playing the game. He’s got that advantage that he can use in order to steal a reward, and his mother has cancer and he may want to hear news about her. If he was to tell everyone in the game about that, odds are that they would not be that angry at him over taking the reward. Yet, at the same time they may view him more as a sympathy vote at the end of the game, and he may not want that target on him. This is incredibly fascinating, since there are so many different ways that this could go.

The one person we do suddenly feel confident about? Jay. He was almost silent through tonight’s two episodes, and is still in the game and with an idol in his pocket.
