‘Teen Wolf’ season 6, episode 2 video: Malia’s new crisis

We’ve got another news episode of “Teen Wolf” airing on MTV this coming Tuesday, and judging from the sneak peek below, we could be in for what we’d certainly describe as a rather dramatic experience. After all, how else do you describe is effectively Malia trying to figure out how to stay afloat in her new normal?

There aren’t many other scenes we’ve seen so far this season that better exemplify precisely how valuable Stiles was to this group, and even if you don’t particularly consider yourself a ‘shipper of the character with Malia, we still think that it’s clear. Without her “anchor” around, Malia is chaining herself and trying to keep her powers at bay out of fear that she’ll hurt someone this isn’t exactly a habit that she was keeping up by the time he was around and they were together.

Will this be the metaphorical straw that breaks the camel’s back in terms of the Beacon Hills gang learning that someone is missing? We cannot guarantee anything one way or the other there, but it could be a part of the foundation that gets us there. What we do know is that at some point before the end of this season, we’re definitely going to see these characters realize that something is afoot as they start to get further and further along. From there, the significant challenge is going to be figuring out precisely if there is a way that the show can resolve everything in time for us to have a happy ending.

One last thing we’ll say here is that when the dust settles, what matters more than any character ‘shipping is that the people at the end of this story are happy, regardless of whoever they are with. We just want it to feel earned.
