AMAs 2016: Where to live stream red-carpet pre-show
Tonight on ABC, the entirety of their typical lineup is being preempted, and there is a very particular reason for this: The spectacle otherwise known as the American Music Awards. It’s the sort of awards show that can be entertaining, but much of it depends on the lineup of performers, and also the creativity that many of them bring to the table.
If you want to check out the broadcast live, the only real venue for you is on ABC. CTV in Canada, or by streaming either one of these networks online, provided of course that you have the ability to validate your cable provider.
If you want to live-stream the red-carpet pre-show, there is a way that you can do that without validating much of anything. All you have to do to start right off is head over here! The stream will start at around 6:00 p.m. Eastern time (3:00 p.m. Pacific), and you’ll get a chance to see all of the fashions and the fun leading up to the start of the actual awards show.
The show itself tonight will be hosted by Gigi Hadid and Jay Pharoah, which has to be easily one of the strangest combinations out there. While Hadid may be one of the best working models today, we’ve still gotta see more of her hosting chops to see if this is a gig she can do successfully. Pharoah, meanwhile, is coming off of years on “Saturday Night Live” and should be more than fine. The lineup of performers is pretty diverse, and includes everyone from Fifth Harmony to the legendary Green Day.
We’re going to have some more news from the AMAs, including our take on some of the performances, throughout tonight over at the link here. Be sure to come back for all of that! (Photo: ABC.)
