‘The Flash’ season 3 spoilers: What ‘Arrow’ character is suiting back up for crossover?

Crossover -

In the midst of all of the various stories that are being reported about when it comes to the 100th episode of “Arrow” and all of the crazy stuff coming via the crossover, there is one thing that is probably becoming a little bit of an under-reported story: We are going to be seeing the return of a popular hero in costume during the “Flash” portion of the episode airing on Tuesday, November 29.

Who is it? Well, the photo above gives it away: It’s Speedy! Earlier this season on “Arrow,” Thea Queen made it clear that she didn’t have an interest in suiting up anymore, saying that she’d lost a sense of her humanity as a result of the past year and wanted to forge a path forward in a different way. We do think that she’s done that as Oliver’s chief of staff, and we’re glad that the show continued to find a great use for her. (Specifically, Willa Holland had some great work with Paul Blacktorne on this past episode.)

As for what is causing Thea to don the Speedy suit again in the crossover, that remains to be seen — but our guess is that it involves in some way the presence of the Dominators and the threat they bring to really the entire planet. With a threat this massive, Oliver may implore her to sign up, given that this is an all-hands-on-deck sort of situation.

This photo also does give you a chance to see many other familiar faces, whether it be Supergirl, Diggle, or many of the crew from “Legends of Tomorrow.” Given how much time that they spend traveling, it’s almost strange at this point to see Sara and Jax / Firestorm back in their typical crime-fighting costumes. They don’t really get to do that much these days.
