‘Homeland’ season 6 video: Claire Danes, Mandy Patinkin talk what’s next
At the end of this past season of “Homeland,” we saw the brutal aftermath of the attack in Berlin, and that meant a wide array of different consequences. For Peter Quinn, for example, that meant his life being in grave jeopardy. Carrie was left in a position where she had to determine not only some of his future, but where she wanted to go after spending even more time in the front lines.
We’ve already heard that Rupert Friend will be a part of the upcoming sixth season premiering next year, so you can go ahead and eliminate that as a possibility. The one thing that you do have to expect and try to prepare for now moving forward is getting a chance to see precisely what’s going to be coming up for Carrie now that she’s back home. She’s in New York City now, and on paper, she’s established a little bit of distance from that life.
Yet, there is a clear difference between life on paper and what’s actually going around you.
In the video below, you can see a little bit of series star Claire Danes explaining precisely what her character is up to now. She is working to run a law firm in New York that helps out Muslim men and women who were wrongfully persecuted. We imagine that at some point, this will lead into something a little more dangerous — but it’s hard to tell on the surface precisely what that is going to be just yet.
Meanwhile, you can also here a little bit in here from Mandy Patinkin regarding some of what we’re going to be seeing moving forward from his character, as he will be in New York to help brief the new President-Elect.
