‘The Flash’ season 3, episode 7 preview: ‘Killer Frost,’ Alchemy, and … Savitar?
The biggest thing to look forward to from next week’s new episode of “The Flash” lies right in the episode title: “Killer Frost.” To quote a certain AMC show, this may be our chance to see Dr. Caitlin Snow break bad in a way that she has not since first becoming a part of the series. In one way, this is an exciting proposition, since we’ve already seen to a certain extent what she is capable of over on Earth-2.
The primarily difference here when it comes to stakes is that we actually care about this version of Caitlin a great deal, so there are stakes. Other than the fact that she was Killer Frost, Earth-2 Caitlin didn’t have that level of excitement around her. This one is rather interesting, and based on what we’re hearing via The CW, rather dangerous.
Synopsis – “Caitlin (Danielle Panabaker) uses her powers to save Barry (Grant Gustin) but as her mother predicted, the effort unleashes her inner Killer Frost. Killer Frost goes on a rampage looking for Dr. Alchemy, kidnapping Julian (Tom Felton) and battling both The Flash and Vibe (Carlos Valdes). Meanwhile, Joe (Jesse L. Martin) and H.R. (Tom Cavanagh) have a heart to heart talk.”
Why did we put Savitar in the title when he’s not mentioned here? Well, it has to do with the fact that this character is going to have more and more of a presence as we move forward this season; he’s one of the two Big Bads, so this really should not come as a surprise to anyone that we would start to slowly see more and more of his story. We also saw a brief glimpse of him tonight at the very end when things went chaotic in Alchemy’s lair.
Promo – This basically just shoes some more chaos at the hand of Caitlin, whose powers seem like they are starting to take over. For Killer Frost fans, this should be awesome — but, we’re also worried at the same time.
Whatever happens here, know that it will probably carry over in a fairly-substantial way to what happens in the upcoming crossover event.
Want to get some other news when it comes to “The Flash”? Then be sure to head over here! We’re going to have a full review for tonight’s “Shade” up a little bit later in the evening. That’s definitely worth looking out for.

This is what happens when you (berry) mess with the timeline. I can watch Flash season 3 on CW TV outside US using PureVPN without any issue.
