‘Supernatural’ season 12: Jared Padalecki, wife Genevieve expecting third child

Mrs. Carter: The “Supernatural” family has another new addition on the way!

Earlier this morning on “Live! with Kelly,” Jared Padalecki made an appearance to discuss a wide array of topics, and in the interview confirmed that he and wife Genevieve are expecting their third child coming up this spring. Many congratulations to the two of them! He also discussed at length the story of how he and his wife first met while working on the CW show many years ago. His family lives in Austin where they can have stability, while he does the majority of his work during the week in Vancouver. The show will be off for a holiday break soon, so he will have plenty of chances to go home and spend time with the family.

Jared is not the only star of “Supernatural” currently expecting children, as fellow lead Jensen Ackles and his wife Danneel Harris are also expecting twins at the moment. By this time next year, both guys are going to hopefully have three kids and will find themselves even busier than ever!

As of late, “Live! with Kelly” has generated headlines for a variety of different reasons, with one of the biggest ones being a co-hosting search that has went on for many months. The show with Jared this morning was hosted by Richard Curtis, a teacher who originally won a contest to host for a day. He was later invited back after so many positive reviews from his first go-around. It would certainly be the ultimate feel-good story to have Richard eventually become a permanent co-host, but we’re probably getting way too ahead of ourselves in making that sort of proclamation. For now, let’s just hope that he gets hired again.
