‘Quantico’ season 2, episode 6 video: Owen, Lydia put a life at stake in latest test
Through most of “Quantico” season 2 — or at least the part of it that constitutes the story in the present — what we’ve seen by and large from the show is a series of training montages. Sure, they’re more exciting than just that, but our frustration is largely that the stakes and the drama are so much stronger during some of the “future” segments, and as a result of that we tend to find ourselves so much more eager to see what is going on there.
Luckily, the sneak peek below makes us think that there could be a little bit more going on at The Farm than we’re used to seeing, at least provided that we’re not looking at some sort of scenario where Owen and Lydia want the trainees to think that there are serious stakes when there actually is not.
The mission from the standout of the instructors seems to be simple: Have the team use the available resources to make the right decision regarding a potential drone strike in Aleppo. Either you determine that the target needs to die, or there is a reason to have them live. You want to eradicate potential threats to the country at all costs, but at the same time you also do not want someone’s life firmly in your hands. It’s a scary situation for these characters to be put in, and there is no guarantee that the right decision will be made.
If there is someone more equipped to make this said decision than anyone, though, it is Alex. Just remember for a moment here that she has made these sort of tough calls already with the FBI, and seen the lives of many close to her end.
Tomorrow night, we will return here to further assess the aftermath. For now, head over here in the event you want to read our most-recent “Quantico” episode review without further delay! (Photo: ABC.)
