‘Hawaii Five-0’ season 7, episode 8 preview: Danny chaperones at Grace’s winter formal
Tonight, you’re getting the 150th episode of “Hawaii Five-0,” and all indications suggest that you’re getting a Steve McGarrett-heavy episode that teaches you a thing or two more about his mother, Wo Fat’s father, Catherine, and so much more. There’s a lot of action in there, but hopefully you’re going to have a few opportunities to laugh and reminisce about moments and scenes from the past along the way.
Now, the show must go on. Next week, we bring to you an episode entitled “Hana Komo Pae,” which is going to be one that starts off sweet and innocent with Danny serving as a chaperon for Grace at her winter formal. Here’s the unfortunate part of the equation: It’s not going to end that way. In true “Five-0” fashion, something else is going to happen that will cause everyone to fall into some peril.
Synopsis – “While Danny chaperones Grace’s winter formal, terrorists seize the venue and hold everyone hostage in order to kidnap a diplomat’s son.”
We do certainly wish that the producers gave us a little more to go on here. As it is, we have to assume that this is a fairly straightforward episode where we will see Danny do what he can in order to keep everyone safe while handling negotiations with the terrorists on the inside. Meanwhile, some of his colleagues at the Five-0 will probably be on the outside, doing whatever they can to ease over the situation and make everyone feel safe. This may be easier said than done, but we’re still confident they will find a way to make it happen.
Hopefully, at some point down the line Grace will have a chance to redo her formal; we’re not sure this is the sort of crisis that will make her ever want to have another school dance for the rest of her life!
