‘The X Factor’ UK: 5 After Midnight not splitting despite rumors

Of course, you cannot be a contestant on “The X Factor” without a wide array of rumors, and this is precisely what we’re getting right now courtesy of 5 After Midnight. It’s not too hard to conjure up the source of some of the claims that the group is going their “separate ways” at the moment. After all, there was a package that aired on this past episode showing the three arguing in the midst of rehearsals.

Do they fight? Probably, but it makes sense. They are a band with three guys, who all have strong opinions as to how to deliver the best performances. Anytime you’ve got three people with these sort of opinions, you’re going to run into conflict. Specifically speaking per the Express, band member Kieran Alleyne denied the talk with the following:

“It’s never anything serious. It’s just petty, like brothers. We’re not going to split up. We entered this competition together, we’ll go out of it together.”

As for whether they’ll stick together after the show, who knows? It feels like a lost cause to speculate on that, mostly because we’d be offering up the same sort of speculation on just about any group to come through the show. We feel like they’ll do their best to move forward just because that’s what any group would do in this circumstance. You’re on the show to try and move forward in your career, and hopefully they will get a chance to do that. We do think they are super-talented and they’ve got a good shot to move forward quite a bit, even if the jury’s still out on whether or not they can win.
