‘Legends of Tomorrow’ season 2, episode 4 preview: Civil War zombies!
Tonight, “Legends of Tomorrow” gave us a good chance to see Sara starting to adjust to her new role as leader. This is not the easier transition in the world, but we have a sense that she’ll figure it out. Meanwhile, we’re also getting a good sense of who Nate Heywood is now as Citizen Steel, the new member of the Legends with powers that could prove to be rather useful.
Next week, the show is giving us a new episode entitled “Abominations” that is going to throw the characters back into the Civil War; not only that, but we’re always going to have a chance to see some struggles for a few characters.
Synopsis – “When the Legends discover a time Aberration in 1863, they find themselves fighting for survival during the Civil War with Confederate soldiers who have been turned into zombies. With the Civil War outcome hanging in the balance, Jax (Franz Drameh) must participate in a daring mission by going to a slave plantation with Amaya (Maisie Richardson-Sellers). Meanwhile, Sara (Caity Lotz) begins to feel the burden of the decisions she has to make as the leader, and Ray (Brandon Routh) struggles to find his purpose on the team.”
We like that the show is addressing the Ray issue head-on here, mostly because he’s always been a flawed character in some ways. He is someone who does want to do the right thing, but sometimes being such a good guy makes it hard to tell stories about you. Without his suit, who is he?
Promo – This one suggests that all sorts of fun could be coming up. After all, we’re dealing with zombie soldiers here!
