‘Blue Bloods’ season 7, episode 6 sneak peeks: The search for a whistleblower
Is there some more trouble coming in the direction of Frank Reagan and the NYPD? Based on the sneak peeks below for Friday night’s new episode of “Blue Bloods,” the answer to that appears to be “yes.”
In the first sneak peek below, we learn about some particularly sensitive information that one member of the police force could be a whistleblower for the Attorney General’s Office. What this means is basically that Frank’s role in the department could be compromised by someone going over his head. Even if this cop passes along information that don’t implicate him in any wrongdoing at all, Frank’s a smart-enough guy to know that any mistake other people make on the job is liable to fall at his feet. he’s well aware that the buck stops with him, and this should create all sorts of challenges for him as we move further and further into the episode.
As for the second sneak peek below, thing of this as yet another Reagan family dinner scene. This time around, we get a further sense of some of the character’s value sets, what they root for, and also what they want to protect. It’s somewhat ambiguous out of context from this episode; probably the thing that we’re the most surprised about here is that the show somehow continues to come up with interesting family-dinner scenes at all. You would think eventually that these people would run out of things to talk about, but somehow that hasn’t quite happened just yet.
We’ll be back tomorrow with a full review of everything that transpires.
