Is ‘Empire’ season 3, episode 5 new tonight? The World Series stretch
Fans of “Empire” should probably be accustomed to waiting at this point. After all, last week the show was off the air due to the third and final Presidential Debate. This time around, we regrettably have to pass along the exact same news, albeit with a slightly different reasoning.
This time around, the Terrence Howard – Taraji P. Henson show is being pushed back because of the World Series between the Chicago Cubs and Cleveland Indians. It could return as early as next week on November 2, provided that the series is over at that point. Therefore, if you don’t have much of an interest in baseball, odds are that you’re better off rooting for Cleveland to win. If they take the next three games, the show will be back in plenty of time in order for this next episode to air. If it doesn’t return next week, you’ll have to wait instead for Wednesday, November 9 to have an opportunity to see what is coming up next.
If you are starting to have some recent events from the show slip through your memory bank, we’ve got a relatively simple solution to that in the new video below. In this one, you can see some of the cast members break down some of what happened on the most recent episode earlier this month, which culminated with Andre and Nessa having sex while the ghost of Rhonda seemingly participated. This was extraordinarily bizarre, but let’s be honest here: It also definitely still captures the soul of “Empire” and what we know this show to be: A primetime soap that is not afraid to go bold.
Regardless of when the show returns, odds are that there will be at least eight or nine episodes that air this fall. Therefore, you still have a ways to go until the hiatus.
