‘Supernatural’ season 12 spoilers: First details on ‘Everybody Hates Hitler’ ‘sequel’
If you’ve been following things closely within the “Supernatural” production process so far this season, you may know already that Adam Rose is going to be returning to the show as Aaron Bass. We last saw him appear during the episode “Everybody Hates Hitler” a few years back, and his next appearance will be coming on the November 10 installment entitled “The One You’ve Been Waiting For.”
Just in case you’re looking for a few more details regarding his big return now, we’re more than happy to provide them! The CW released the following synopsis earlier in the weekend:
“After learning that the soul of Adolf Hitler has been trapped in a 1930’s gold pocket watch, Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) must act quickly to prevent a group of Nazi necromancers from resurrecting the Fuhrer.”
The entire idea of Hitler being stuck in a watch is completely ridiculous, but this is the sort of craziness that the show does love to throw out there from time to time. Seeing Sam and Dean try to stop necromancers from achieving this quest. Aaron Bass has ties through his family history to Judah Initiative, a group who was tasked with trying to stop fanatics trying to bring Hitler back in some shape or form. Hopefully, he’ll prove to be a rather valuable ally as we watch these factions go to battle.
Regardless of what happens here, we do have a feeling that it’s possible we could see all of these characters again in the future. The one thing that we do know is that if there is one show that can pull a storyline out of nowhere for the sake of entertainment, it’s “Supernatural.”
