‘Power’ season 4 spoilers: First look at Tasha in court

While “Power” season 4 may still be many months away from premiering, we have to continuing giving some credit to Starz for being so liberal sharing promotional materials so early. After all, just how many other shows out there would be so willing to make this happen?

The photo below is one of the latest looks that the network is giving you of this new season, and they are specifically putting Naturi Naughton’s character of Tasha in the spotlight. She’s got a lot on her mind in the aftermath of the end of season 3, but she is apparently at court, ready to see what happens next with a man in James St. Patrick who is still technically her husband. He was arrested by Angela, but before that the she and Ghost did sleep together once more. Did this change their relationship in any way? We imagine that for Tasha, things are complicated and then some.

What may be making things all the more complicated here is the reminder of what else is going on back home for Tasha’s son Tariq. The show opted to tell most of his story via a slow build, and he’s been getting closer to Kanan — otherwise known as one of the last people you want to be getting close to — over time. This is a situation she’s going to have to figure out quickly, and with Jamie behind bars for a crime he did not commit, we’re not sure how much he will be able to help.

Given that Tasha’s as strong as they come, we gotta figure that she’ll have an important role in determining Ghost’s future. As for precisely what that will be, we’ll be waiting until next summer to figure out.
