‘Poldark’ season 2: Eleanor Tomlinson takes us behind the scenes (video)

Love “Poldark“? It’s pretty easy to feel that way. The BBC One series is now over halfway through its second season, and it is only becoming more and more complex in the process.

We know that we’re going to be spending plenty of time in the weeks to come discussing events in terms of the story, so let’s take a breather from that for a minute and discuss things more in terms of life behind the scenes. The video below was posted on the official BBC One account, and is a delightful little tour behind Nampara, the Poldark family home, courtesy of star Eleanor Tomlinson. This is a time for her to be in the house that is not particularly dramatic for a change, especially since this season Demelza has dealt with everything from the Poldark family debt crisis to the death of Francis to questioning her husband’s feelings. He recently tried to assuage her concerns with a Christmas gift, but it remains to be seen precisely if that will last.

New episodes of the series will continue on Sunday nights on BBC One and on PBS in America, and the one this we definitely anticipate is that the drama is far from over. Ross is going to continue to be involved in many a complicated scenario as he tries to get the mine up and running, and we presume that the love triangle with himself, Demelza, and Elizabeth is also far from over. In the end, this is something that we’ll have to see play out further as time goes on.

For those wondering, Tomlinson and the rest of the cast are actually back on these sets now, as season 3 is currently in production.
