‘Gotham’ season 3 spoilers: Things get trippy in Halloween episode
The third season of “Gotham” certainly tells plenty of stories that are worthy for Halloween, given the fact that you’ve got many villains who are already spending their time roaming around in costume. It also can be scary at times, and it is certainly all sorts of weird and wacky.
Given that the show is having an episode airing on the actual holiday this year, you have to assume that it’s going to go all-out to be even stranger … and we say that knowing that Hugo Strange probably is not going to be appearing it. The title for the episode is “Mad City: Red Queen,” and here are a few details on what you can expect to see:
1. For Jim Gordon, he’s going to be going on an odd, “psychedelic trip” through time thanks to some sort of mysterious substance at the hand of the Mad Hatter. Sound out-there to anyone else? Maybe this will help him confront some demons, or learn a thing or two about himself in the process.
2. Penguin is going to do his part to handle the presence of someone new in Edward Nygma’s life; the specific relationship this person has with Nygma remains to be seen, but just remember what we saw on this past episode: Oswald made him Chief of Staff almost in a reckless manner, just because he showed more “belief” in the campaign. That sort of impetuousness could certainly come back to bite the Penguin; after all, his decisions have not exactly been perfect on the series so far.
Let’s just hope that there are plenty of creepy moments in here, and this is the perfect accent for those of you who are looking for a way to ring in the holiday — even if it’s taking place on a Monday this year.
