‘Lucifer’ season 2, episode 4 preview: To stop a serial killer

With a show like “Lucifer,” there is a rather enormous amount of fun and games. What did you expect from a title character who loves to emphasize being devilish in every way? He’s someone who manages to find the lightness in often dark situations, but moving into next week’s new episode, we could see in particular one of the darkest crimes to date. A possible serial killer could be on the loose, and Lucifer and Chloe will have to team up in order to figure out what happened and the motive behind it.

This episode is entitled “Lady Parts,” which is an odd and in some ways creepy name for it in the first place. That suggests that there are strange things ahead (as opposed to stranger things, of course), and we’ve got more for you below.

Synopsis – “After the bodies of two young L.A. transplants are found poisoned, Chloe and Lucifer hunt for the killer. Upon Maze convincing Chloe to go out for drinks, which the detective perceives as an act of friendship, but is actually part of a bet between Maze and Lucifer, the two make a shocking decision.”

Promo – The situation that is coming up for Lucifer regarding this bet, and also a few family issues, could end up being severe. He plays it off somewhat in the promo, but we have a feeling that this is not going to be so easy a conflict to resolve. The more that his parents get involved, and the more difficult things will likely become. For those worried that the episode will be a little too serious, we feel like the moment at the start of the promo is a good reminder that this won’t end up being the case.
