‘Supergirl’ season 2 spoilers: More on Lynda Carter, Chris Wood’s Mon-El
It was some time ago that the news first came out that Lynda Carter of “Wonder Woman” fame was going to be guest-starring on an upcoming “Supergirl” season 2 episode, and from that very moment we were excited. How could you not be, especially with her playing the part of the President? It’s not often that we get to see a superhero show expand its universe and that sort of way, and it is definitely an exciting prospect.
Well, today we can tell you further that Carter will be present on “Welcome to Earth,” which is the third episode of this season coming on Monday, October 24. She will be present thanks to an attack that is made on her, one that could lead to Supergirl and the DEO doing whatever they can in order to protect her. As for who is attacking her, that is what remains to be seen — but we know that the debate over alien rights is starting to get a little dangerous in National City.
Also, expect to see in this episode Alex Danvers teaming up with Detective Maggie Sawyer to figure out the case from a more law-and-order sort of perspective. We know that there are some people out there wondering if Alex and Maggie could be a potential couple; maybe, we’ll have a chance to learn more about their relationship over time.
Want one last little bit of scoop on this episode? Well, let’s just say that Kara is going to worry about new arrival Mon-El (Chris Wood), who will have escaped — and could be the person responsible for the attack on the President. Early on this season, it appears as though there will be questions aplenty regarding just whose side this character is on.
