‘The Fosters’ season 4 spoilers: ‘Rectify’ actor signs up for new role
The first half of the fourth season of “The Fosters” ended with just about every shocking development possible: Nick found himself arrested again, Jesus was knocked out by the guy, and Callie may be in a car with a murderer. To think, we’re only touching on some of the stories right now.
What we can tell you is that there is clearly a need for some further law enforcement in Anchor Beach even with Stef on the job, which may be why we are getting this latest bit of casting news. Per a new report from Deadline, John Marshall Jones (“Rectify,” “Bosch”) is set to appear in the role of Detective Bruckner, a hard-nosed officer who works hard to achieve his desired result. We would imagine given her job that Bruckner is attached to the Stef storyline in some way, but given what is going on at present with Callie, it certainly would not be a surprise if his story collided with hers at some point point.
The second half of season 4 is going to officially premiere on Freeform with new episodes at some point in the new year, and as we get closer to that, we presume that there will be further news revealed. Hopefully, at some point along the line this will also include a renewal for season 5, given that this remains one of the most touching, heartfelt, and timely shows that exists within the world of cable TV.
