Is ‘This Is Us’ episode 3 new tonight on NBC? Teases for ‘Kyle’ ahead
For the first two weeks of the fall season, we’d say that one show in NBC’s “This Is Us” has commanded the lion’s share of the pop-culture spotlight. It made people feel something in a way you don’t see too much anymore when it comes to TV shows. We’ve come to live in a rather-cynical time, and as a result of that, it has gotten a little more difficult to make people want to take anything seriously. This show does that. It’s earnest, it’s real, and it’s funny at times.
Also, it’s a show that you can watch with confidence. After all, it was recently handed a full season, and as a result of that there is no clear reason to worry about its long-term future.
Unfortunately, there is no new episode on Tuesday night. The Vice-Presidential Debate is preempting the entirety of primetime programming beyond 9:00 p.m. Eastern time on the major networks, so you’re going to have to wait for a little while still to see what lies ahead. When the show does return on October 11, it will be with the episode “Kyle.” Here’s a few teasers on what you can expect to see then.
1. Rebecca is going to run into Randall’s biological father.
2. Toby is going to do everything he can in order to make Kate feel both special and a part of the spotlight.
3. Jack and Rebecca are going to have a hard time in the past coming home with their children, and in turn getting accustomed to being parents. The beauty of this series is seeing where these characters were, and then also where they are when you get around to seeing some of them in the present. Unfortunately, you’re not seeing all of them — there are still plenty of questions out there.
