‘Secrets and Lies’ season 2, episode 3 preview: When will the series return to ABC?

Let’s go ahead and start this particular article on ABC’s “Secrets and Lies” off with the bad news: There is no new episode coming up on ABC next week. Due mostly to there being a Presidential Debate spanning the majority of the broadcast networks in one week’s time, there is not going to be any real room for the network to share another episode.

However, there will be one come Sunday, October 16, and the primary order of business there is going to be trying to figure out precisely where Liam is, and the precisely what he knows. Eric will be desperate to find him, and for good reason: He realizes his value to the overall case, and he knows that Cornell is already starting to target him closely as a murderer. The synopsis below gives you a few more details as to what to expect:

“Eric attempts to track down Kate’s missing assistant, Liam, only to find out that he is not at all who he said he was. But was Kate on to him or not? A secret rendezvous Kate had at a sleazy motel only poses more questions about who murdered her. Meanwhile, Cornell confronts Eric with explosive information obtained by questioning his ex-girlfriend Tina Sawyer. Finally, Eric pursues a woman who may have ties to Liam, only to find that someone has gotten there first.”

Will there be some more twists in this case? We certainly imagine so, mostly because it seems too easy to have Eric be at the center of everything. This is a show that relies heavily on the twist, and while we assume he’s probably involved, there could be some other turn that causes all of our collective jaws to hit the floor soon enough.
