‘The Big Bang Theory’ season 10, episode 3 video: Prepare for unusual pairings

Part of the fun that comes with “The Big Bang Theory” from time to time is that we get to see characters spend time together in different ways. When you’ve got a cast this enormous, you do have to expect that there are times when people will get to interact with other characters in a way that they do not often get to.

Take, for example, what’s going on with Raj and Bernadette. Do they spend a good bit of time together? Sure, but at the same time it’s usually with Howard or someone else around. With Howard working in close tandem right now with Leonard and Sheldon on their government project, they’re not getting a lot of time with their love interests. This leaves Bernadette and Raj to spend some time potentially either cleaning out the baby room or going shopping. We don’t quite know precisely what all of this will entail, but we imagine that we could learn more about how she is feeling about her pregnancy. There hasn’t been a whole lot of time to spend on that as of late.

As for the second sneak peek below, this one makes it clear that Amy and Penny will be spending some time together at some sort of scientist gathering, something that Amy originally wanted to go to with Sheldon before he screwed his friends by giving them such a limited amount of time to get this project done.

Are these scenes funny? Certainly, but not in a way that is going to surprise you. Think of this as traditional “Big Bang Theory” through and through.
