‘Fuller House’ season 2 premiere date announced by Candace Cameron Bure

Fuller -The first season of “Fuller House” was a sure-fire hit, and it may have even been a bigger one than anyone imagined it would be going into it. Some reports out there have suggested it is one of the biggest comedy hits of the year, but with Netflix not really being one to release much of their ratings info, it’s hard to necessarily back much of that up.

What we can at least give you now is the show’s official premiere date courtesy of star Candace Cameron Bure: December 9. The actress announced the news on her other gig in “The View,” stating that there will be episodes themed all around Christmas, Thanksgiving, and other other major holidays. You gotta think that the premiere date is perfectly-timed as a result!

This new season is hopefully going to continue to expand the Fuller universe to a certain extent, giving us new people and situations while also at the same time throwing at us some further reminders of the original “Full House” series. There are some people from the old sitcom who will be turning up here, though the Olsen Twins are seemingly not among them and may never be, given how there’s been almost no word on anything changing for them.

Perhaps one of the most intelligent things about the show’s premiere timing is simply this: It’ll be coming on at a time in which it can really command the spotlight. There won’t be nearly as much competition out there in terms of other programming, and it can relish that opportunity.
