‘Empire’ season 3 video: Grace Gealey, Kaitlin Doubleday talk balcony cliffhanger

The third season of “Empire” premieres on Fox Wednesday night, and if you want a good refresher for all of the assorted craziness before it comes around the air, trust us when we say that we’ve got that for you below!

In the attached video, you can see Grace Gealey, Kaitlin Doubleday, and executive producer Ilene Chaiken look back at one of the craziest moments we’ve seen on the series through two seasons: The balcony fight between Rhonda and Anika that likely will leave one of the two of them dead. This was a culmination of many things, with most of it starting with the infamous moment in the premiere where Rhonda was pushed down the stairs. Her ability to suss out the situation led to conflict with other members of the family, and ultimately this moment of violence where it looks like we’re going to lose at least one of the two major characters.

If the show loses either one of them, there will be sweeping ramifications. For Andre, imagine how it would feel to lose Rhonda not long after losing his unborn child following the stair incident. For Lucious and Hakeem, they may not always like Anika, but neither can deny how they are linked to her in some way.

We’ll hopefully have answers on everything that happens come the end of the premiere on Wednesday night; rest assured that we’re certainly going to have further updates all about the series every step of the way.
